Should You Use a Humidifier?
Humidifiers are a common household appliance, particularly in areas with dry climates or during winter months when heating systems can make indoor air very dry. By adding moisture to the...

• Best filtration system
• Completely safe
• Ultra efficient
• Easy to use
A filtration system with certified HEPA filters and granular activated carbon removes more than 99.97% of particulates at 0.1 microns including dust, pollen, pet dander, mold spores, smoke, odors, smog, bacteria, viruses, radioactive fallout, and VOCs from your air. Aspen removes the fine PM2.5 and smaller particles that can enter deep into our lungs and cause life-threatening illness.
Some air purifiers use technologies that can actually be harmful to your health or have other adverse effects, such as UV lights, ionizers, or ozone generators. Our units are guaranteed not to produce ozone, and we use 100% safe purification methods
Aspen uses EC fan technology, which can use up to 85% less electricity than a traditional AC fan at a given air flow volume. The efficiency gains are even more pronounced at lower fan speeds which are used most frequently.
An efficient air purifier will save you money on electricity while effectively cleaning your air.
Designed with simple intuitive controls, so you can spend less time messing with complicated menus, schedules, and apps and more time enjoying clean air. No more complexity or connectivity issues.
Our units are proudly assembled in the USA in Seymour, CT using the highest quality fans from Germany.
With a MERV 14 rating, it's more than just a pre-filter. It removes allergy and asthma causing particles including dust, pollen, pet dander, mold spores, dust mite droppings, asbestos, fiberglass insulation, sneeze droplets, and other PM10 and PM2.5 pollutants so you can breathe truly clean air.
Independently tested to ASHRAE 52.2 standards to meet MERV 14 performance.
Custom designed for Aspen, this filter contains 3.3lbs of activated carbon that captures and removes odors, formaldehyde, tobacco smoke, and VOCs from cleaning products, paint, and other chemicals. These extremely tiny particles get trapped in the microscopic pores inside the activated carbon granules.
This hospital grade filter removes fine and ultrafine particulates including smoke, smog, bacteria, viruses, radioactive fallout, and other pollutants that are small enough to enter deep into human lungs and cause life-threatening diseases over time such as ischemic heart disease, stroke, COPD, and lung cancer.
Independently tested to IEST-RP-CC001.6 standards to remove 99.99% of particles at 1.0 micron, 99.97% of particles at 0.1 microns, and 99.98% of particles at 0.002 microns.

The short answer is 1,500 square feet. The long answer is it depends on several factors such as, how many air changes per hour you want. For example, given Aspen's pollen CADR (Clean Air Delivery Rate) of 442 CFM and smoke CADR of 373 CFM we can calculate the room size (assuming 8 foot ceilings) for different air changes per hour. An air change is when the entire air volume of the room goes through the unit.
Air changes per hour vs. room size (pollen CADR)
1 - 3320 sq.ft.
2 - 1660 sq.ft.
3 - 1105 sq.ft.
4 - 830 sq.ft.
It's best to put Aspen where you spend most of your time or where there are higher levels of pollution. Most people put Aspen in the living room, kitchen, or bedroom. If you only have one Aspen and a two story house, it's best to put it on the lower level because the natural airflow through a house is from bottom to top due to the stack effect. This will allow the air in both the upstairs and downstairs rooms to be cleaned.
Every 12 months. A light on the control will turn on when it's time to change the filters. If you have excessive dust, from woodworking for example, you may need to change the Allergy Filter more often.
Aspen by itself is not a solution to radon gas. If a homeowner has radon, they still need a radon mitigation system. However, radon decay products (polonium, bismuth, and lead) are metals that can easily attach to dust and other particles in the air. Aspen will capture those dust particulates and any radioactive debris attached to it. In this way, Aspen can make a great addition to a radon mitigation system.
No! Aspen does not remove CO2 from the air. No air purifier does.
Yes, Aspen comes with a standard 2 year warranty. This can be upgraded automatically to a 10 year warranty if you create and maintain a filter subscription within 2 years of purchase. More details can be found here.
