Tanner Janesky

Tanner's goal in starting the company is to help people have a higher quality of life and a longer healthy lifespan by removing allergens and harmful pollutants from the air.
He has a background in designing efficient products, such as the most powerful and efficient dehumidifier in the world for its size.  He also has many allergies and asthma caused by airborne allergens and pollutants like pollen, mold spores, pet dander, dust, and VOCs.  He had tried many brands of air purifiers in the past, and had varying degrees of success with them, but he could never find one that fit 3 important criteria: cleaned a high volume of air, removed the smallest pollutants from the air, and cleaned the air using very little electricity.  After much research he found the perfect air purifier just didn't exist, and there were many air purifiers touting a "new technology" that turns out to just be a new branding on a technology that doesn't actually work or that is unhealthy for people.  That's why he decided to design the ultimate air purifier that he would want to use.  An air purifier that would deliver a truly meaningful quality of life improvement for people - especially those with allergies and asthma like him.  The result of 2 years of design and testing is what he believes is the best air purifier available that uses only elemental cleaning technologies that are proven to work and are 100% safe and healthy.  When he's not working on air purification, he enjoys learning new things, trail running, riding dirt bikes, mountain biking, climbing and endurance racing. He's passionate about thermodynamics, energy, sustainable development, and resource use.  "You can have anything in life you want, if you'll just help enough other people get what they want." - Zig Ziglar

 

John Kay
Director

John is a life-long learner and enjoys self-improvement and learning new skills.  He enjoys audiobooks that are supportive of his growth.  "Everyday we wake up is a new opportunity to achieve greatness!"  He loves taking on difficult challenges, and he's inspired by watching others push through pain and setbacks on their way to conquering their own challenges.  In addition to overseeing our air purifier manufacturing line, he enjoys being outdoors and visiting National Parks as well as auto racing, motorsports, and fishing.  He considers being part of the support team that took on the Baja 1000 (the longest non-stop offroad race in the world) to be his greatest adventure.  He feels recycling and simply being nice are small things we can all do to make the world a better place.

 

Luis Delarosa
Quality Control

Luis serves as an assembly and quality control technician for our team.  He enjoys spending time with family, basketball, visiting Atlanta City NJ, and working.  He feels it takes patience to build something great.  He loves the quote "It’s not about how hard you hit, it’s about how hard you can get hit and keep moving forward, how much you can take and keep moving forward that’s how winning is done."  He's inspired by challenges and working to build Aspen air purifiers has been one of his favorite adventures.  If everyone would pick up one piece of trash and put it in the trash can, he feels the world would be an even better place.

 

Johnny Lopez Jr.

Assembly Technician

Johnny is part of our Aspen manufacturing team.  He is one of the first high school graduates from Bridgeport Military Academy.  He spends a lot of time reading books, specifically ones that offer inspiration about military history and tactics. On occasion, he writes fictional short stories.  He's inspired by his parents, who have overcome significant obstacles and have created things to help others.  They provide him with encouragement towards his goals.  "I am on a never-ending journey to becoming better today than yesterday, every day," is a quote he lives by.  He feels becoming familiar with people in our communities and social interaction can improve the world.  "A realization I recently gained is that if you want to have a change in your life, you must be willing to commit to it. Making small changes in your day-to-day life can have a motivational effect that can help you push toward significant changes."

 

Frank Cuccaro

Assembly Technician

Frank is part of our Aspens build team and helps to test them and maintain quality.  When not working, he likes to play golf, bowl, and hang out with friends and family.  He sees his parents as an inspiration.  His favorite place to visit is Punta Cana in the Dominican Republic.
